Once completed, the Tweed Valley Hospital will be a major hospital in the heart of the network of hospitals and health facilities across the Tweed-Byron region. It will assist the health services in meeting the needs of the growing population in the region beyond 2032. While stage 1 of the hospital has been completed, stage 2 is just beginning and will see the main works and operation of the hospital completed and open to patients in 2023.
